His work is characterized by a decided form of painting based primarily on the expression of forms and color qualities, and extremely conscious use of structures and matter.
He mainly deals in oil painting in the stream of expressive abstraction, inspired by the artist’s authentic experiences.
Sometimes it also goes out into space – in 2019, its almost 7-meter high sculpture “Hemingway” from the Corrida series represented Poland during the Tropical Burning Man Art Festival in Brazil.
The artist has so far completed artistic cycles: Australia, Iran, La Gomera, Matternhorn and Corrida.
He received a creative scholarship from the Polish Minister of Culture and the Erich Pommer Institute in Berlin.
He is a laureate of awards and distinctions in national and international competitions, including in 2015 he won the qualification for the British BAFTA, an award at the European Satire Festival in 2008, an honorable mention of the Association of Creative Intelligence 2005, the first TVN award in the script competition or the award of the Polish Minister of Culture in 2003.
He is also known for his drawings and film / animated film / which he practiced in the years 1998 – 2014.
He created many characteristic drawing characters / TeD, ZeD / and his own windows and commentaries appeared for years in the most important Polish weeklies and dailies.
As a juror, he cooperated with international film festivals: Roshd in Tehran, Cinewest in Sydney, ReAnimacja in Lódz and FINC Baia Formosa in Brazil.
He is the author of several books and albums – including “Australia Iran La Gomera” 2016; “Cause and Effect Drawings” ed. BoSz – 2006; “Giggles” ed. Archeton – 2001; Albums GREMI / 2012 and 2018 / as well as columns, including many devoted to art.
